
Public health centers are a major contributor to the health of our communities in Nigeria.
They are your go-to places to seek help with common diseases, infectious diseases and many other minor diseases. Public health centers collaborate with many non governmental organizations such as safe future ministry to educate the local about health issues including how to avoid sexual transmitted diseases(STD),pre and postnatal care, breast feeding and many other classes.
The federal ministry of health mandates public health centers in all local government to contribute towards the provision of optimum health for all Nigerians, to design, develop guidelines policies, and implement the formulation of public health policy to promote surveillance and prevention of diseases in Nigeria and implement public health guidelines and policies.
